Statesman, author, naturalist, explorer, soldier, and 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt passed away on January 6, 1919. Commemorate this important centennial with Tyler Kuliberda who will speak about one of the nation’s most influential and beloved leaders and the home he so loved at Oyster Bay. Refreshments served.

 Makeup or Breakup Love Duets at the Opera

Presenter: Tanisha Mitchell, opera singer and librarian at the Metropolitan Opera and Freeport libraries

Join Tanisha Mitchell as she explores the drama, passion, and pain of love through some of opera’s most famous duets. This talk will explore La Boheme, Carmen, Faust, Otello, and Romeo and Juliette. Tanisha will sing an aria during her lecture.
